DAVID SK PARK, MD, MMSC
Dr. Park is one of the pioneers of stem cell research and treatment in South Korea. As the co-founder and vice-president of the International Association of Aesthetic and Antiaging (IA3M), he significantly contributed to advancing cellular science through research, clinical work, and lectures.
As an aesthetic surgeon, he actively participated in antiaging science as a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) during his early career. He is still actively involved in antiaging and stem cell science as a member of A4M, the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, and the International Society for Stem Cell Research.
With his vast clinical experiences and expertise in anti-aging and cellular science, he established one of the first stem cell clinics in Seoul, South Korea, specializing in cellular rejuvenation and treatment of chronic degenerative diseases. After moving back to the United States in 2017, he continues to further the science and technology in anti-aging and stem cell science and is an advisor for many stem cell therapy centers and IA3M.
YUN SEOP KIM, PHD, MPH
Dr. Yun Seop Kim joined Washington Scientific in 2016 as a Managing Scientist. Dr. Kim specializes in public health capacity building for developing countries, and he is an expert in hospital systems and public health strategies. He brought 20 years of experience as a Deputy General Manager of the Office of External Cooperation & Public Relations at Korea University Medical Center and as a consultant for KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency, a Korean equivalent of USAID) and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Peru.
Dr. Kim has conducted numerous public health projects in more than ten countries in the fields of hospital management and RMNCAH (reproductive, mother, newborn, child, and adolescent health service). From 2009-2015, while working as an expert in KOICA and for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in PERU, Dr. Kim successfully completed 15 projects to support various programs ranging from improving water hygiene, improvement of the health system for mothers and children with partnerships of local hospitals and international organizations including UNICEF, PAHO, and Partner in Health. Dr. Kim traveled extensively to remote regions of the Solomon Islands, Peru, Cote d´Ivoire, Iraq, Ghana, Nepal, and Bolivia to evaluate public health programs for WHO, UNICEF, and UNFPA.
Dr. Kim also took part in organizing a relief team as a Medical Coordinator for disaster relief from the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 and 2011, the volcano eruption in Indonesia in 2006, the earthquake in Pakistan, and the tsunami disaster in Sri Lanka in 2005. He developed AID’s activities and consulting in Malawi in Africa and fundraising for several projects for these relief programs.
Dr. Kim is a research professor at Korea University and is currently performing daily research activities at Cornell University as a Visiting Scholar.

ADVISORS
DOUG YOON, MD, PHD, MBA
Dr. Doug Yoon is a co-founder of Washington Scientific and works as an advisor and chief scientist of Washington Scientific. He is a bilingual physician and epidemiologist with expertise in drug development and epidemiologic analysis. He has successfully submitted an FDA Fast Track Designation and an FDA Orphan Drug Designation. Dr. Yoon has designed a phase 2 clinical study and led two phase 2 clinical trials under the US FDA IND successfully. Dr. Yoon has overcome numerous challenges in those drug development processes. The market cap of the pharmaceutical company that Dr. Yoon helped as Senior Director of Clinical Development has grown from $150 million to $700 million during his service to the company.
While serving as a medical school professor at Korea University in South Korea, Dr. Yoon and his team designed evidence-based screening strategies for infectious diseases, chronic diseases, and cancers including hepatitis A/B/C, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), diabetes, metabolic syndrome, stomach cancer, and lung cancer. Dr. Yoon wrote patient-centered and family-oriented medical information booklets for use in the Health Promotion Center. Dr. Yoon played a pivotal role in establishing an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and a Clinical Trial Center (CTC) at Korea University Medical Center. Dr. Yoon worked as an Information Technology Committee member while implementing an electronic health record (EHR) system to the hospitals in the Korea University Medical Center (KUMC).
Dr. Yoon previously served as a committee member of the Medical Knowledge Improvement Committee under the Korean Medical Association (KMA) to provide evidence-based information to the medical community and the general public. He wrote chapters of the medical textbooks published by the Korean Academy of Family Medicine (KAFM). He was featured more than 30 times in Korean nationwide television programs, and more than 30 newspaper/magazine articles, guiding the general public by correcting misconceptions and providing evidence-based medical knowledge.
Dr. Yoon is a strong advocate for humanitarian actions. He has participated in and led numerous medical relief efforts responding to various disasters, including the 2004 tsunami and the 2006 earthquake. Dr. Yoon authored a paper presenting patient patterns after the 2004 tsunami disaster, which helped U.S. doctors estimate the prevalence of diarrhea and infectious diseases after the 2005 Katrina disaster. In November 2014, the Korean government selected Dr. Yoon as a physician member of the Korean Disaster Relief Team (KDRT), an initiative to combat the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

JAE-WOOK CHOI, MD, PHD
Dr. Jae-Wook Choi is a professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Korea University College of Medicine and the director of the Institute for Occupational and Environmental Health at Korea University. Dr. Choi is currently the Policy Director of the Korean Medical Association.
After receiving a Master's degree in Public Health in 1991 at the Seoul National University, Dr. Choi received his Ph.D. in Industrial Medicine at the Korea University Graduate School in 1994. Dr. Choi started work as an Assistant Professor in 1996 at the Preventive Medicine Department of the Korea University School of Medicine and was subsequently promoted to a full professor in 2009. He teaches causation and scientific principles to the students of Korea University. Dr. Choi authored 50+ peer-reviewed papers in the fields of preventive medicine, environmental medicine, and occupation/industrial medicine. The covered area of Dr. Choi's papers includes:
